FINAL PROJECT: SELF-TITLED

First of all, we needed to develop ideas for the digital poster and the animation. My idea was to combine myself and the things I love which are: My family, my cat and football. 

1) IDEA DEVELOPMENT

Biography

INTRO	About myself: My name is Azim Azariff and I am 20 years old this year. I’m currently in Taylor’s University and I’m taking Bachelor’s of Design (Honours) in Creative Media. This is my second year in Taylor’s.
PARAGRAPH 1	About my family: I’m apart of a family of 4, my parents and my older brother. My father works in Sarawak at the moment and my brother is working in the UK right now. So as of now, it is only my mum and I at home. Sometimes my mum goes to Sarawak to meet my dad so I’d be at home alone quite often. However, I do have 5 cats at home.
PARAGRAPH 2	About my passion: I’m a guy that loves football so much. My favourite team is Arsenal. I’ve been supporting this team ever since I was 7 years old. Whenever there’s a match, I’d do anything to watch it; whether it’s online or at a restaurant. I used to play football almost every single day with my brother but ever since he left for the UK, I gradually stopped playing.
SUMMARY	Summary: I’m a 20 year old who loves his family, his pets and football so much. I’m honestly a very simple man. Without these things, I wouldn’t know what to do with myself.

Statement about my work

INTRO	About my work: I want my work to represent me well, I want to try to make a design based on my biography.
PARAGRAPH 1	My concept: I want to try to combine my love for my family/pets and my love for football. Designing something that involves stuff I love will help me have fun doing the work.
PARAGRAPH 2	My message to people: I want people to realise that they do not need to overthink when it comes to creating a design. Just think of the things you love and maybe combine those things into one. It could possibly create something unique and interesting.
SUMMARY	Summary: Basically I want my design to feature the things I love, whether I combine those things or stick to one, in the end my design will be based on the things I love. It’ll be a good way to end this module with this final project.

Sketch Progress

I didn't sketch any images as I haven't had any images in mind. So, I decided to just draw boxes to create a layout for the poster.

	ARTIST STATEMENT: This poster embodies the fusion of my passions: football, family, and the delightful presence of my feline companions. It celebrates the spirit of competition, the strength of familial bonds, and the irresistible charm of our feline friends. Through vibrant imagery, it captures the essence of who I am and the tapestry of my identity.
