Week 5 - Week 7 (04/03/24 - 22/03/24) Azim Azariff Bin Azahar Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media Design Principles - Task 3: Design INSTRUCTIONS <iframe src="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W5zFCZkKv0omqyvaBjAhzwsDkYFC3L1m/preview" width="640" height="480" allow="autoplay"></iframe> TASK 3: DESIGN This task requires us to create a design based on our analysis in Project 2 whilst also implementing our knowledge of design principles into the design. We are allowed to use any sort of medium/material to create our design. My idea for Project 3 is to create a minimal poster which conveys a message that represents my chosen goal: (1) No Poverty These are some designs that I may implement onto my poster. We will need to study the design principles found in that work, as well as the size, placement purpose, effectiveness of the design in relation to the UNSDG goal that we have chosen. We are then needed to write a 300-350 word visual analysis on the artwork. UNSDG goal chosen:  (1) No Poverty Chosen artwork: Fig. 2.1 No Poverty (2020) Patrick Dodoo (21/02/24) Visual Analysis: This artwork is physically painted and it is obvious to the eye as you can see the brush str

Design Principles First we are required to recap the listed design principles in the MIB which are: - Gestalt Theory Gestalt principles or laws are rules that describe how the human eye perceives visual elements. These principles show how complex scenes can be reduced to more simple shapes. (From lecture slides) (Principle of Similarity, Principle of Continuation, Principle of Closure, Principle of Proximity, Principle of Figure/Ground)  Fig. 1.1 Gestalt Theory (14/02/24
